What has happened to @Are0h and other black people on the Fedi recently is totally inexcusable. I know a lot of white people try to avoid looking at or discussing issues of race here, but you NEED to look at the ugly truth that exists. These are HUMAN BEINGS that have been verbally harassed and DDOS'd; it is the exact same trolling and hate speech that drove progressive folks out of spaces like Twitter to come to Mastodon. This isn't acceptable so don't ignore it.
