It may be 10 years old, and it threw a lot of warnings at me when I asked MELPA to install it, but the edbi package for #emacs does just what I want. Let me poke around in a #database before I have to write queries for it.
I don't understand the massive amount of people caring what happened to a very elite university's top employee, no matter the justifications or ethics of the actions. The proceedings didn't involve a US court, legislative act, a political election, or even a major influencer, so really will have no lasting impact on most people. The people seeming to care a lot mostly aren't working in education, related to her, or previously studied at any elite university. Why the uproar?
