It's a good way to handle a tricky situation.
I'd like the choice of whether to interact with them or not, as Threads users are not bad/harmful, per se, though the owner may be. :)

Personally, I wouldn't mind hanging out with them. 😊

And nothing seems to be working.
Being in areas with a 450 AQI was a struggle. :blobcatgoogly: I couldn't breathe.

It has the best public transport in the country, but there are a whole lot of cars, auto-rickshaws, and motorcycles, too.

Farmers burning stubble of the previous season's crop is the other part of it. :blobcatupsidedown: No amount of policies or police action is working.

It really is an unliveable city. Hope this gets better sooner than later. 🤞

This is interesting.
India is very much heating, btw.
This heavy particle problem is terrible in Delhi and the surrounding areas in Northern India.
Like I stated before, these areas have some unique problems which exacerbate the effects of pollution.

There's heat and pollution in every other region, some a little lesser than the others (like Bengaluru). :(
Things have changed for the worse in the past few years itself. Not goody or comfy. :sadcatstarry:

For me it was me looking up alternative social media platforms on Google, as I never had any liking towards the mainstream social media platforms in any way.

Then I chance upon this "Mastodon" and am intrigued by it.

I sign up for it....

Glad to meet ya here.

Even I took a lot of time to get settled here. What helped was some genuine, warm conversation and communities with wide ranges of interests and people.

I did a lot of Fedi exploration- different applications, instance hopping, and have finally landed here! 😁
It also helps that no platform is a walled garden here. Switching is easy.

Besides, speaking into emptiness is a recurring feeling for me, still, when I don't get any responses for my posts. :)
I've lost quite a bit of friends from here, too! :blobcatgiggle:​

Hi @jerry, this is a recurring problem I face while using Mastodon on Firefox on Linux.
Some of the icons don't load and the interface looks weird.

Is there a solution for this? :blobcatgiggle:​

Am on Firefox 117.0.1 on Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon.

Also, an old Advanced Interface glitch: Backspace is a shortcut to take you to the previous screen, right? For me, it takes me 2 screens back. (accidentally gets pressed twice 🤔

Yup; I was able to load the homepage of crank after a bit of jumping around. (cert issue), and that page looked just fine; all the icons loaded well. I'd attached a screenshot of the same on this thread. :blobsunglasses:​
