@massivelyop IMO, they shot themselves in the foot when they abandoned Wurm Unlimited. Lot of people I knew played Online because they got into it from Unlimited.

@alien You run into the framebuffer/nvidia bug with the 6.1 kernel? Getting really tired of it not being fixed for older cards. IMO, it's sweetening the deal to replace it (eventually) with AMD.

@alien It's only a problem when you're switching to console from X. Otherwise, it's something one can ignore. Annoying, but not a game-changer. Enjoy your vacation!

@massivelyop WoW needs to pivot away from raids and mythic, but I don't see them ever doing that. Too much of it is built around mythic, hardcore raiding and mythic dungeons.

Question for folks on how my posts are appearing (beyond lustrous and silky, that is). When I first started, if I had a UHub story without a photo, when I posted, you'd see whatever I actually wrote in the Mastodon text box, hashtags and the linked URL. Of late, it looks like you now see this plus the UHub logo and the headline, repeated. Are you seeing this, too? If so, I can stop writing the headline by hand to reduce the duplication.

yesterday i went into a linux IRC channel for the first time since… i left my abusive ex in 2011, who i met in a linux IRC channel. my heart races just thinking about that.

really no wonder i am so wary of the community and have refused to engage with it for years

how fitting that firefox just asked me for “feedback” and i wrote them a whole essay on how inaccessible their shit is 😠​ i already have some alternatives lined up that i am going to try, but maybe it makes an incremental difference anyway…

@universalhub I don't get that. They redid the curbs on one road here to make it safer for pedestrians (because there'd be 2-3 hit per month), and people were all up in arms.
