@massivelyop When I was in grad school, my partner and I were on opposite coasts. On Sundays, I'd grab a burger on the way back from Mass, and we'd play WoW the rest of the day. :)

@JoeRess I'm looking at an AMD card to replace my 1050ti, but only because the price is right. I'm not 100% sold on it, though. I had no end of problems the last time I used one, admittedly a good 10 years ago.

A little advice about social media from someone who has been on social media since it has existed. You don’t have to argue. When someone wants to argue with you, you should block them. There is no good outcome possible from arguing on social media.

@geerlingguy Cool. I need to use my pi 4 more. I have it in the touchpad display for stream-pi, but I'd like to get another monitor for it, so I can have stuff up while streaming on the desktop. (I'm on a corner desk, so an 2nd full monitor isn't really an option.)

Was very excited to start working at [WNY employer], so I was bummed to discover that their machine shop is extremely unsafe!

  • Dust on the floor causing a slip/fire hazard and no vacuum/no time to clean it up
  • PPE not being worn by most employees
  • Cramped workplace introducing too many trip hazards
  • Steel toes not provided in a manufacturing environment
  • A 2-prong electric tool MISSING A PRONG and still being used (WTF)
