I'm from the North West of England. My beard has started to go grey over the last couple of years.

I like messing about with #linux, #flightsim & #rpg gaming, #skiing, #paddleboarding, writing #bass heavy #electronicmusic and pick up other interests here and there. I spend a fair bit of time on the #isleofman visiting family.

To complete the Mastodon stereotype I work as a Sysadmin/DevOps guy in a mainly #debian #proxmox environment.

Trying a juxtaposition shot. Way too much haze to see Eryri in the distance.

A Spring Evening.

@DJDarren Late to the party but listening on catch up - great show so far and I fucking love Kyuss too. If you're doing numbers next week there's always their track 100°

Tried to find some vegetable stock for soup at the supermarket. 1g salt per portion. Well, tinned soup is >2g so I guess that’s an improvement. Oh wait, a single stock cube is 4 portions and therefore 4g of salt?! It’s worse than the tinned version! (I checked every single option on the shelves, the lowest was 0.6g per portion).

@pwaring Kallø do a good low salt stock cube, but I've not seen it in stock for a while near me

@Whiskeyomega The Chems are at their best for me when they go hard and dark. It Doesn't Matter is a masterpiece.

I think it very important to quietly highlight some things I do despite my stupid brain not wanting me to, as a kind reminder to myself that I’m not completely useless.

As a result, the single tiniest triumph in my day is when I take off my trainers by undoing the laces.

I didn’t do that for a couple of weeks, and noticed they were beginning to wear away at the heel. They cost me quite a lot, so I want them to last. So every day I put in a few seconds effort, and praise myself.

@DJDarren Good on yer. I struggle with this too, have already damaged my new-ish trainers by just forcing them off instead of undoing the laces.

In my mind, the porch is a place to hustle through as quickly as possible and holds no interest. I should try and be more mindful instead.

Grumpy this evening and not entirely sure why.

Don’t like it.

@DJDarren My car thermometer got 21°c in Lancaster earlier, overcast and sticky. Then a torrential downpour which cooled it off a little. But it's still sticky af and causing me to have a right cob on for no reason. So I'm probably projecting!

@DJDarren I'm getting similar vibes, but with Mulligan & O'Hare popping their heads up
