What model should one report after using multiple and regressions, and how are they obtained? I'm using the package in , and on each imputed dataset. When pooling results, summary() yields what I need for each model term, but nothing for the whole model. If I didn't impute but deleted listwise, I would normally report AIC, BIC, Loglik. These are all in the mipo object, for each result for each imputed dataset, but they're not pooled. I'm sure I'm missing something here. Does anyone know an example article where such results are presented neatly?

hsorlie,

@brodriguesco Thanks for the input! Reporting the distribution (M, SD, max/min?) of AIC/BIC as opposed to a single value sounds like a neat idea. I have all the 20x values in the mipo, so that's relatively easy. Not quite sure how one should interpret such a distribution though. Have you seen this done in a paper?

A little while ago someone posted about an they had made, that made custom paint-by-numbers/color-by-numbers prints of your own photos. I thought I had reblogged or favourited the post to keep it, but now I can't find it and I can't remember the name of the package. Does anyone know which package it is?

hsorlie,

@hrbrmstr Thanks for the tip! The package I was looking for was this: https://github.com/cj-holmes/paintr But that one also looks super nice!

Which high quality independent outlets and publishers of journalistic content that has an official mastodon presence do you recommend? I miss the old days of using twitter as a source for news, but (obviously) going back there won't fix it as those days are gone. Not that going back would be an option anyway. I'm having trouble finding the large newspapers I used to follow over there, here. Not looking for unofficial bots posting tweets. Recommendations?

Utter magic. The Norw. Dir. for Education and Training may have calculated wrong results for natl edu eval tests for years. Recently discovered by Simen Markussen. Asked to show how their calculations the dir answ that «the analysis was done in a commercially available program, which works in such a way that it is not possible to see the whole analysis afterwards». If I ever saw an argument for and open source statistical packages in the public sector, this is it.

Does anybody have good ideas on visualising a 3way interaction? All vars are continuous, from a quantitative diary study. DV, A and B are within-person (daily) measurements (state). C is between-level (trait). I've tried Jeremy Dawson's excel file, and Jacob Long's excellent package. Both do the job, but imo 3way interactions are notoriously unintuitive and slippery, and I'm looking for something (anything) to make the results a bit more... available.

Had a blast riding down from Bossnuten yesterday morning. Pushing/carrying the bike up is so worth it. 460 meters of elevation difference across 3,7km trail. And the view!

hsorlie,

@NeadReport Thanks! I appreciate that. Haha, just changed the rear tyre actually, but that's maybe once per season. Other than that it's scrubbing the bike down with particular attention to the drivetrain, and then lubing it back up. Normally the derailleur hanger needs realignment. Level of detail is mostly dictated by time available (as in: kids' needs).

hsorlie,

@NeadReport Last round of proper maintenance, a week ago. Needs a new round now.
