So um, I tried something that I didn't do in a long time - went to see a movie in a cinema. Here are all the trailers I had to watch for half an hour before the show:

  1. Two black cops karate a whole lot of people while cars constantly explode in the back.
  2. Ryan Gossling karates dozens of bad guys while a female screen partner falls in live with him. Cars explode continuously.
  3. Rabid apes karate half naked humans. And to my surprise- a lot of explosions in the background...

  1. The whole earth population is karateed by space arachnids while literally everything explodes.
  2. A dozen of spandex clothed optionally flying renegades karate everyone & everything while explosions.

The movie - space desert karate with a mix of artillery and nukes when no mountain sized harvesters are exploding.

If you see one Hollywood movie per year - you've literally seen them all.

@frankreiff Frankly, I loved part 1 - I watched it a number of times and loved everything about it. But part 2 was only karate and explosions and I didn't feel much happened at all

I just went all the way to Poblenou (Barcelona) for a tech meetup hoping to have dinner there at 9pm and they didn’t allow me to enter saying: “It’s too late, it will finish in the next hour”

I replied: “Dude, we are in Spain, 9pm is early, what are you talking about?”

And this is the last time I go to a new tech meetup in Spain organized by non-Spanish people. I should have known it because the location was in a WeWork 🤦‍♀️

A hilarious observation about AI: till this year spam emails inevitably used my correct name since it's literally my email address. In 2024 though spam bots use all available to humanity information to try and guess what my name might be and the results are hilarious.
