I’ve been planning my next build on PCPartsPicker for the past 3 days. Not sure if I’ve slept. No time. Too much reconfiguring to do. A friend is also working on a new build. We both spent the day on PCPartsPicker optimising. We haven’t touched meth since we started all this.
Is absolutely worth watching. If only to validate much of what you already suspect is true.
Most of this will not be a surprise. But it’s important to have it documented on camera.
One thing that became obvious to me after watching both documentaries by this guy is that they can be pretty honest and it really has no effect on how they are perceived in public.
The sides never change. You either hate them or want to be like them.
Seven aid workers were killed when their convoy was hit by an Israeli airstrike overnight, as it was leaving their Deir al-Balah warehouse, amid ongoing operations delivering aid supplies inside Gaza....
An example would be a version of the trolley problem where you can either allow the track to remain on its current path which is empty, or divert it to harm an individual unnecessarily. This is a choice between a universally good outcome or a universally bad outcome....
To quote myself, there’s no “ethical certainty” when (hypothetically) travelling back in time. You can never know the untold devastation you will introduce or avoid by making major or even minor changes.
I love time travel stories but most of them really skip over some of the more complex issues.
Which reminds me of a fairly low budget movie that was actually not bad, Time Trap. Check it out if you can find it.
Seriously this was very surprising. I’ve been experimenting with GrayJay since it was announced and I largely think it’s a pretty sweet app. I know there are concerns over how it isn’t “true open source” but it’s a hell of a lot more open than ReVanced. Plus, I like the general design and philosophy of the app....
iPhone user and monthly signal donor here. Have been using it since it was available for signal. Have managed to get everyone I care about to install and use it.
I basically made it the only way to message me and get my attention.
I’m not that special, I just care about my friends and I think they might like me enough to do this one thing for me. At least they know they can cut me out of their lives by uninstalling signal.
I wonder why religious conservatives are mostly synonymous with capitalism supporters ? I mean arent most religions inherently socialistic ? What makes conservatives support capitalism , despite not being among the rich?
Only just discovered the concept now in this thread but I guess it’d work like any other library. You’d just check out the stuff you need that you choose not to own for what ever reason.
If you want to own a mountain bike because you would use it regularly then that would be fine. But if you need a drill press for a project you can go check one out.
Just guessing here as I’ve done no reading on this subject.

What is the opposite of an ethical dilemma called? (A situation where there is a clear/obvious solution with no negative consequence)
