@anneroth Wir teilen in unserer Familie den Standort, weil es viele Dinge einfacher macht.

Das Kind hat auf eigenen Wunsch am Kartenetui einen AirTag, der aber nur für ihn sichtbar ist. Er neigte eine Zeit lang dazu, das zu verlieren.

Er hat seit dem 4 Lebensjahr ein Handy, in dem seit seinem 6. Jahr auch eine SIM ist. Sie ist prepaid, absichtlich. Das hilft ihm den Verbrauch zu kontrollieren.

Ansonsten ruft er an, wenn was ist, oder sendet Chat.

@anneroth Er ist seit dem 7. Jahr alleine unterwegs. Der Streifradius geht etwa 30km, bis nach Amsterdam. Das sind 60 Minuten mit zweimal umsteigen, Bus, Zug, Tram. Früher hat er noch Hilfe gebraucht, wenn der Schipholtunnel mal wieder zu war.

Wenn er das Haus verläßt, muß er die “heilige Dreifaltigkeit”, Handy, Kartenetui, Haustürschlüssel, dabei haben und prüft das selbstständig.

@anneroth Computer und Handy sind unbeschränkt, und unkontrolliert und waren es immer. Er weiß, daß es im Internet Dinge gibt, die er ekelig findet oder die wir nicht gutheißen und hat mit Sicherheit nachgesehen, und dabei herausgefunden, daß wir Recht haben. Er sagt selbstständig, wenn ihm Filme nicht gefallen oder wenn er bestimmte Szenen nicht sehen will.

Ich glaube übrigens nicht, daß die Rechnung stimmt.

Ich habe früher mal ganz viele Android Humble Bundles gekauft und nicht realisiert, daß da auch immer Steam Keys bei sind, weil ich ja kein Steam hatte (erst seit 2017 eine dedizierte Windows-Spielekiste).

Und als die Windows-Möhre dann da war, hatte ich auf einmal aus dem Nix 400+ Titel.

Entirely custom, the old Jekyll theme converted into Hugo, and then hackishly vendored into the site proper.

Thanks to Pat David for help here.

I was using this theme because it is text-first, black-on-white, mobile friendly and had JS search, and it seemed easiest to just convert it.

I live in the Netherlands in a village called Vijfhuizen. It's 30 km/h limited and full of Drempels and other ways of limiting car speed.

Ambulances and fire trucks reach us in record time via a dedicated bus street, two lanes, traffic jam free, going easy and relaxed 120.

You will often find emergency services using the generously sized bike paths to bypass traffic jams or other obstructions.

Generally speaking cyclists can remove themselves within seconds safely from a bike path to let emergency services pass.
