—CARRY ME, OH DAMN SLAP!

Joe was mad at himself. He hasn't regained all of his abilities. Yes, he can walk, he can feed himself. He can even work at the construction like he did before a steel beam crushed him, forcing his employer to pay for a full body replacement. But this is an used body, and a cheap one, to add insult to injury. He was a hobby writer, and now he can't type with his "new" body. Much less write by hand. And his cursing is kind of childish…

Of course. "It's better, [MY NAME]", told me a friend that writes a classical music newsletter. "ChatGPT writes everything. I just polish it". His readers hasn't noticed the change so far. His daughter was forced to use that thing by her employer (it was their way or the highway). She was a style corrector. Now just fixes "the few errors ChatGPT makes". She hates this, and is convinced she'll be fired…errr, let go this year because the interns are being trained to do it…=-|

I've used it only once, to get some idea of the answer that prompt about a fashion magazine article. And I didn't use a single word it gave me. I end up using and old magazine to get better ideas. I've seen my friend using it to generate his texts, and I just can't think ONE reason to use it myself. I prefer my unnatural stupidity…=)

Now, AI image generators are another horror that, sadly, I've used a little more when I need inspiration and Pinterest isn't precise/quick enough…=)

I only use those images as visual clues of what I want to describe, but never write what's in the image as is. I'm not that shameless…=)

I used to draw but lost the ability like 20 years ago. I can still do it but it takes me forever to draw a person, while then I could draw pages and pages in one day. I'm sure that's part of a conspiracy against me…=)

And to be honest, I do am that shameless, but I am a decent shameless. I'd never pass anything AI generated as my own creation. But I sometimes trace over images I download from the net, and change what I need (mostly faces, hands and arms, feet, clothing, etc.). I do it on Inkscape because I like pain…=)

More than stiff, I'd say her right forearm is slightly longer than it should be…=)

I describe my characters, places, etc., with way more details than I should, mostly because I can, so that, in this WiP case, my hypothetical readers can have nightmares just by thinking on getting their own Standard Bodies™…>=)

Back to the drawing, I love it, and with your permission, I'll add to my wallpaper collection…=)

Yes, you can do that here, too. But it's more difficult if you don have at least bionic limbs because magic here is a healthy as radiation if you try to use in its unnatural state…=)

And computers are already magical things. Dark, evil magical things, that is! =)

Don't worry. We have a machine here that can fix ANY problem you have with your body after magic use. From a simple extra limb to 11th degree burns to actual death and/or sub-atomic disassembling. You might not be entirely happy with how you look when you go out from our medical facilities, but you'll never have trouble again with magic, and you'll be offered the seat in public transport, and free drinks in any place you go…=)

A regular doctor would have to declare the illness as of "unexplained sources" for them to treat the patient?

The gang planned this heist for months. It was going to be their last. With less people using actual money every day, robbing banks wasn't a good business anymore. This was going to be their last gig and it would be memorable. They'd give the police a reason to purse them up to the end of their lives. For the first time in their careers they'll use real ammunition. And they'll left a trail of blood, from here to Texas, and beyond. "Okay, 3, 2, 1, let's jam"
