Love to stuff about our model. Here we have expected computational load for nodes in our simulation network.

I am actually doing something else, but wanted to see, how this is distributed in our model.

janekdererste,
@janekdererste@det.social avatar

janekdererste,
@janekdererste@det.social avatar

@asltf @thijs_lucas Gut geraten!

janekdererste,
@janekdererste@det.social avatar

@asltf @thijs_lucas Man will jetzt also die roten Punkte möglichst gleichmäßig auf die verschiedenen Computer verteilen. Die grünen sind dann nicht so wichtig.

janekdererste,
@janekdererste@det.social avatar

My dive into and its web ecosystem continues. This time, I'm using to serve HTML from an endpoint and sending static files from a directory.

The IDE I'm using is .

Note: Cool features from RustRover include automatic dependency refresh, HTML Language injection, and a built-in browser in the IDE (via plug-in), not to mention really good language support.

@mo8it @khalidabuhakmeh. Just tinkered with , and while being sick at home. On the first impression askama works well for me.

Pretty sure that most of these railway projects in Germany don’t get done because the people supposedly advocating for them are so dull that everyone else has totally lost interest before you reach a stage where a decision can be made.

janekdererste,
@janekdererste@det.social avatar

@jon yes, exactly.

I’m a transport researcher and we sometimes have rail related seminars. It is usually pretty hard to digest.

The video announcing my candidature for the German Grüne European Parliament election list is now available with English titles and subtitles

In short: it's all about transport, and why we need EU action to bring down transport emissions, and get more people from planes and cars onto trains!

@thelinuxEXP discovered your YouTube channel recently and am loving your videos. You motivated me to try gnome/fedora on my work station coming from windows. Unfortunately, a few important apps (including IntelliJ) were blurry on fractional scaling under wayland.

Do you have any insights on why high dpi is still such a struggle under Linux? Or Tipps on how to approach that topic?

Otherwise the experience was pretty nice and I would be ready to switch.

janekdererste,
@janekdererste@det.social avatar

@thelinuxEXP that makes sense. Thanks.

Interestingly the scaling under wayland was no issue under KDE Neon. That distro didn’t support screensharing with wayland and Nvidia GPU though, which just worked on gnome.

So both options have different show stoppers :-/

I’ll try again once Java has proper wayland support, which should solve the IntelliJ issue. Until then I’ll keep watching your videos 🙃
