I finished my third sweater, out of eight total projects for the year so far. And this one happens to be reversible. Though the pattern doesn’t explicitly say so, I find it totally wearable either way. #knitting

I’m on Day 3 of password cleanup, and I have thoughts.

1. 1Password isn’t as awesome as it once was.
2. More (i.e., all) websites need the “Delete Account” option.
3. Surprisingly, the few businesses I’ve emailed thus far re: account deletion have been super prompt with honoring my request.
4. I wish Hide My Email was around ages ago.
5. You have no idea how many accounts you have online until you undertake this task. 😳

Today I let out into the wild my knitting design debut. Say hello to Montage, a stunning shawl that uses a sophisticated mosaic motif throughout.

Because publishing is new to me, I made the pattern available for free, both on my website and Ravelry.

I went out of my comfort zone and tried to do a thing — but then got rejected. The de Young Museum had an open call for local artist submissions, and sadly, I was not one of the lucky 900 (out of 7,700 applicants) accepted to display their art pieces.

Regardless, I’m still proud of my work, and I’m willing to part with it if someone is interested.

I finally got to run in these babies today.

I was not looking for another pair of running shoes, but when you chat with an REI sales associate, casually ask about the additional 40% off select pairs of shoes, and he slaps a red sticker on the box for you, you cannot leave the store empty-handed.

As an aside, the runner’s high is a real thing. After who-knows-how-many attempts to like #running, I think it’s sticking this time.

Things I thought we’d never do: Climb over to the adjoining apartment building’s roof to secure a door that kept slamming against our building due to high wind.

(We seriously thought someone was doing their WOD with heavy weights.)
