    @thelinuxcast OnionOS is a must have, so much better defaults than the original plus the extra little apps and features that add a lot to it.

    I ordered mine without an SD card for cheaper, and just put a good sd on it with onionOS from the start

    @thelinuxcast true enough, depending on the model there are quite aa few options for those, I've not looked to much into them though, I just got this one lol

    @thelinuxcast yeah, sleep in general is not very good in any. Even the Miyoo is kinda bad, but the miyoo boots up in 10 seconds, so I just always turn it oof without worrying much!

    @thelinuxcast it does sleep, I just haven't tried it myself because, not only does it boot quick, but it also boots where I left off as well if I was using a videogame, that's probably the feature the video referred to, it starts up quick and loads the game automagically

    my dad took down the curtains in a room that usually has the curtains drawn. so my dumb ass cat thought there was just an open hole in the wall and tried to jump through a closed window 🫠 my cat is ok, i think. acting very normal so hopefully that means all is good. yes he got lots of treats

    My current feelings towards games right now is, why bother wasting time buying and playing the games companies are pumping and dumping for quick cash when I literally have thousands of games I grew up playing as a kid in a form factor that fits in my pocket with the . I still buy and play the occasional indie game on pc with the homies (abiotic factor currently) but right now I'm jiving watching anime, old cartoons and YouTube while playing games from my childhood

    I have been replaying Grandia on the Miyoo Mini plus for the #VideoGameClub and have been really enjoying it. I feel it looks better on the smaller screen and I like that I can overclock it as well. #VGCMay2024 #Grandia #Emulation

    The #Miyoo Mini Plus is on sale on AliExpress alongside a bunch of other retro handhelds from #Anbernic and the like. So it might be a good time to grab one :P

    My Waveceptor WV-200A

    Not as barebones as the common favourites here but I got this as a gift ~ten years ago and it has the features I need. A countdown timer is a must for me.
    Just replaced the battery yesterday and haven’t had a chance to get a successful atomic clock sync yet. Even without sync the built in calendar until 2099 makes sure the date is always right.

    A bit bulky and the band isn’t my favourite choice of material but its been reliable.
