    I am this that I don't actually want to end. It's so cozy to know there are still some chapters where I'll see these characters interact once again, live their lives and just chill.

    But I know the manga is already over and I am not willing to accept that I'll eventually run out of pages :blobcatsadlife:

    This might go against the grain in the FOSS community, but I feel like open source with a CLA is better than closed source.

    Having your code in the open isn't just about getting "free labour", it's also about transparency and accountability.

    This article wishes for more of RMS as he was 20 years ago, viewed through rose colored glasses. This man never existed absent those glasses and with or without them he does not exist today. What RMS is today is a problem.

    There are creators who allegedly post their work only to encumbered captive portals like Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram.

    For the love of all that's holy, please only post a copy of your work there, if you must. Keep originals of your work at home and make backups that you control. Post copies on websites YOU control.

    @Nour you overestimate people's intelligence, no matter how many posts they come across mentioning Mastodon and the Fediverse I really doubt anything but maybe a few hundred thousand (out of just a couple billion users) will do anything at all, let alone actually stick to an alternative

    Still not decided where the arms need to go, or if I want to take the screen from the spare desk as a second monitor yet. Not sure I really need two screens that large.

    Picture from the back of the desk. One single arm and one dual arm clearly visible. The single arm holds the monitor, the dual arm holds the MacBook and the second arm on the dual is free. Placement is not optimal yet.
