@kev OnionOS it comes with better default settings for the emulators, it comes with extra features. Such as a quick game switcher and also an activity tracker to see how long you play some games.
The main thing worth keeping from the original sd card is the BIOS and Cores located in the Retroarch folder, and maybe the games you'd like, although there are better versions of those games out there, many of the included ones may be in japanese and such...
@joel@kev How does it perform? I have the Anbernic RG-351v and it lags with gba games that use Mode 7 like FF1, which is a bummer. It also doesn't support OpenGL Core :s
@joel And how's the hardware? I just went to pick up mine and had forgotten that the included battery is borked and need to buy a new one :') Is manual intervention required? XD
@rameez@kev I got my unit a few weeks ago. But seriously, OnionOS is a must install. You should get an extra sdcard anyways, since the included one is poor quality and will likely corrupt eventually. Might as well just copy the OOS-stuff on the new card and your favourite roms. OOS will run from the sdcard, and if you take the card out, it will boot back to the original OS.
