Are you really gonna tell me that whatever species that is survived that long without evolving aggression and territorial displays that minimize harm to them so they don't just all kill each other off? ๐Ÿ™„

@lytta must be r-selected species and there are actually millions of them just below the surface

all i'm saying is we better get like an illustrated animation overlay card of their journey into the center of the earth with some narration to pass some of the journey along

hans needs to get some negotiation lessons, you gotta be upping your sheep per week rate when they tell you you're actually going into the center of the earth, and then hold out your vote for more sheep after you lost all your water and the map. staying at the same sheep rate is just not respecting the value of your labor .

"it's only a remote possibility someone found another route into these caves" like dog you do not live there the people who are from there probably know all about that cave system you just didn't ask them

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

the fuck is going on with picking through the cave to get water what is even that

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

shouldn't it be scary as fuck to them that there is a body of water big enough to make a high perssure water stream above them behind like 3 inches of rock

olsen is the best character and it's not even close. if they would give hans any lines ever he might have a chance but the other three can't be redeemed and can't get eaten by the core dinosaurs fast enough .

idk much about boats but i do know if you are going out on an ocean on a vessel of that size you want to have a catamaran or outriggers of some kind.

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

lmao all their feet are just soaking wet for the indefinite future that sucks ass. why are some of them still wearing their shoes

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

25 minutes remaining to develop an actual plot aside from "idk just boat around for awhile"

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

targeted ball lightning strike, whoever is down there has advanced electromagnetic weaponry and with that i think it's time to go home

so with the rain, there must be some double convection system between the regular ocean and the center earth ocean. the buffer of air beneath the crust would make an insulating layer, so the temperature gradient from the very cold bottom of the regular ocean and the very warm surface of the inner ocean must be enough to cause evaporation and offset the inevitable leaks from the regular ocean. since there are no pressure and temperature effects like one would expect to make clouds on the surface of the earth, that ran must just be a ton of condensation that gets stuck on the upper surface.

@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

what's so hard to believe about there being other guys having come down here and set up shop, you're down there and you really have no idea what you're doing

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

you literally can't row across the ocean

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

that tea kettle thing is teleportation machine and he is just mentioning this NOW

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

is this picking scene supposed to be like tragic and showing his mania because everyone has all the energy of being asleep

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

since there was no conflict or any content to the plot, and there wasn't any character development or reason to care about olsen, there really isn't a lot to resolve here, but we still have 9 minutes for them to continue to do nothing until nothing happens

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

hans is sheep rustling in broad daylight

jonny,
@jonny@neuromatch.social avatar

spending a full 5 minutes on volcano footage and going straight into the "where are they now" montage because nothing that happened in the center of the earth was worth saying anything about, not even the secret science base
