Recipes that try to specify how long it will take to cook a large piece of meat are amusing. The recipe that I’m not actually following, said 4-5 minutes per side to get to 135° F. 25 minutes later? We’re at 74° F.
I have nothing but respect for people who work outside their native language, and will never complain about an accent, but if you’re going to announce a live sporting event, there’s a pretty high bar for fluency that you really need to clear…
@greg we saw them live a couple years ago, it was a ton of fun (and a make-up for one of our very first dates that was ruined when I missed a flight…).
Our vet recommended physical therapy for our dog, as her recovery isn’t going quite as well this time (unsurprising, as it’s the other side right after the first one). Fortunately, our insurance covers this. We were worried she’d be upset and uncooperative without us in there with her, but the PT took this during her treatment. I think she’s fine…
Just listened to two guys argue about whether or not there’s an In-N-Out in Española, #NewMexico. (Spoiler: there is not, the In-N-Out burger’s on Camrose. Also one is supposed to be coming to Albuquerque.)

Saw a CyberTruck in Española, #NewMexico tonight. Getting dinner at La Cocina, I guess. Also saw a number of new #Rivians driving around, though; probably 4 or 5 in Rio Arriba county now, not counting mine.
