Russian President Vladimir Putin's appointment of a new defense minister, Andrey Belousov, is seen as an attempt to streamline Russia's economy and mobilize it for the war effort.
Russia's military has faced numerous supply and logistics problems that thwarted its all-out war against Ukraine from the get-go. Two years later, the problems of poor logistics and lack of strategic planning persist. #AureFreePress#News#press#headline#Ukraine#Russia#Putin
@jacob Willie Nelson at the 9:30 Club in DC, has got to be my top. This was a couple years ago, so he’s old, and his son Lucas is jumping in and out as he needs to take a break, and that just somehow made his talent even more impressive.
Number two is probably Tom Petty at the Boston Gardens. It was one of his last shows (though we obviously didn’t know that at the time), and it was really the epitome of a modernized stadium rock show.
@SouthernLibtard one important difference being that the protestors in Israel aren’t calling for Jewish organizations to be expelled from American campuses. And I can fairly confidently state that none of them are chanting calls traditionally used by supporters of the destruction of Israel and expulsion (if we’re lucky) of Jews from Judea.
@chemoelectric@SouthernLibtard Netanyahu is a criminal, both war- and otherwise. This is part of why, like Trump (but more successfully), he’s doing everything possible to cling to power and embrace whatever policies and positions will help keep him there, even at the expense of the Israeli and Jewish peoples (which overlap greatly, but are distinct from one another).
Netanyahu needs to go. The offensive against Gaza needs to be restrained. The hostages need to be released.
Is there such thing as a small, rugged GoPro-style device that’s more oriented towards still photos? I love the size and form factor and ruggedness of the GoPro/insta360/etc, but don’t really want to shoot (or edit) much if any video.
@jacob ah, the article I was thinking of was for the Osmo pocket 3, which isn’t really for stills. What about something like from the Fujifilm X100 line? Not sure if that would count as rugged (though I’ve been very happy with larger Fujifilm cameras for wildlife photography), or if a prime lens camera would suit your needs.
My wife does not pay attention to UK politics (which: fair, we don’t live in the UK; not honestly sure why I pay as much attention as they do), and just learned about the Rwanda mishegas. Her reaction: ‘when did the UK turn into Texas?’. Again: fair.
Both the UK and Texas: extremely fun to mess with!
I have served myself a double cheesecake portion, with fresh blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. I have made myself a pot of half-caf. I'm rolling Friday the 13th (1980) and will continue to roll sequels until I'm ready to sleep.
Picking my hobby game dev battles for this weekend.
I really want to do some animation system stuff built on aseprite, but if I want all the fun hot reload support I need to figure out how to downgrade my aseprite version.
