jtk,

I’ve hated touchscreens on everything since forever, and have been shouting into the darkness about how stupid they are in cars since the idea was first introduced. I think most nerds have been doing the same for a long time. Touchscreen are only good for mindless tapping on unimportant things, everything else needs dedicated controls.

jtk,

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead (ASCII mode) and Neofeud hold a special place in my heart

jtk,

When I learned about that one is when I figured out all symbolism of anything good is doomed to stray from it’s original meaning. Fools and assholes will ultimately adopt them in an attempt to appear more credible on the surface, when people start figuring them out, they associate that symbol with that behavior, and it’s game over. They do it to flags, religious totems, words, anything that might be able to grant them a benefit-of-the-doubt buff for a while.

jtk,

That’s not a “straight pride” flag, that’s a “doubling down on our anti-LGBTQ+ agenda because they dare to defy us with their own flag” flag. I’m straight, that flag does not represent me, it represents bigoted fucks. There are already several flags for that.

I think the example didn’t make the point very well. An asshole online is going to be an asshole in real life. They’re probably not screaming death threats at people in the streets, out of fear of the consequences, but they’re a dick in many other ways, for sure. Think that’s the part people are agreeing with.

jtk,

My patience for people spewing complete stupidity with bold confidence ran out during the covid conspiracy theories.

Being confrontational and argumentative to assholes isn’t being an asshole, it’s just calling out assholes.

jtk,

He’s probably setting up to suggest Microsoft be required to support SSO so people can log in with twitter.

jtk,

IME, you can overcome that by drinking more 👍

My wife came home a few nights ago and I was already in bed, I heard her starting a meal in the microwave, not unusual. Next day I see the time on the microwave was 43:57, and the meal was still in there. Real glad she didn’t press start. She has no clue what time she was trying to enter. I like to theorize, due to the arrangement of numbers, she just punched the num pad.

All me depending on the source. LR,TB: Vodka, Gin, Beer, Mushrooms (is there a “Journey in the wood” booze? I don’t know anyone that gets like that on any type, and I know a lot of drunks, maybe I just don’t spend enough time near the woods)

jtk,

It’s really weird to make it look like it’s printed on the wall. That would be an awful thing for sick children to read on their way to treatment.

jtk,

So, children and adults that never mentally matured past 8th grade still think they’re cool. Can’t argue with that.

jtk,

I’d wager they knew it was legit but didn’t care if, or even preferred, it happened. They’re playing a table top game with real lives.

jtk,

I’ve seen that book before, I think it’s “how to COOK with SPICES”

jtk,

In Google Translate, without the 2 dots on the third a, I get “Squid Ducks”. With the dots I get “Skullcaps”.

jtk,

Looks like this might be his first time ever using fans.

jtk,

Does smoking more of the 5% stuff get you to the same place as the 20%?

jtk,

“Are we the idiots?”

jtk,

Else, none of my business

And, therefore, none of the governments business, since they represent the people. But what about the people that believe it is their business and, therefore, the governments business. Never end a thought process at “none of my business”, VOTE!

jtk,

Then leave without paying in 0.045 seconds.

jtk,

His unique stance is actually the optimal position to be in to defend against a sudden future martial arts attacks. He had to instantly teach it to himself during the first attempt, since no one has even seen these types of attacks yet, but he did it, and survived. They say no one else could have done it but him.

The Billionaire-Fueled Lobbying Group Behind the State Bills to Ban Basic Income Experiments in the U.S. (www.scottsantens.com)

The Foundation for Government Accountability was founded in Florida in 2011 by Tarren Bragdon after cutting his chops in Maine at the Maine Heritage Policy Center and then as adviser to Maine’s governor, LePage. It was in Maine where Bragdon and a cohort of fellow young conservatives gained a reputation for outrageous...

jtk,

Experiments are always theater anyway. There’s no point in experimenting, the change only happens when it’s “universal”. It’s in the fucking name. Just do it.
