@artandtechnic Here's a still from a VHS capture I did. What is that band of noise at the very bottom (approximately 4-8 pixels tall, and doesn't seem to be tape-specific as it shows up regularly), and what's the best approach to getting rid of it? Thanks

Just watched a Brother word processor disk image go from "hey, any ideas how to dump these Brother word processor disks" to "I think I've figured out the file system- does this match what you see?"

Was kinda thinking of buying a Minolta PS7000 book scanner, because I saw one close enough for local pick up and at a decent price w/ everything, but then got to the brochure which says Power: within 1000w (the fact that it's only supported on Win95/98/NT not an issue).

Just finished "Sid Meier's Memoir!", and it's fantastic. Gives a lot of insight into his #gamedev & #gamedesign process, and being very informative of the history going on around him. Lots of fascinating tidbits, like there never was a Gandhi nuclear weapon bug- this was an urban legend invented in 2012. Highly recommend! #bookstodon

@dosnostalgic Have you read any #dosgaming novelizations? I found a Descent trilogy once and read it. I've got some of the #doom books (from Doom/Doom 2 era,) as well. Also read Planetfall despite never having played the game- enjoyable read.
