I do exactly this, and I have for years! It’s a work laptop, so I can’t install whatever I want. I have a dedicated mouse for the PC and another for the laptop, hdmi switch for a shared monitor, but also a dedicated monitor for both as well. Then a shared keyboard on a 4 port is switch.
I’m in the US as well, and I had a gesture shortcut for Google Pay on my phone. For a while, whenever I opened it the app would strongly suggest I switch over to Google Wallet. I thought Pay was phased out a while ago as well, TIL.
I snagged a good deal on two of them. Totally overkill, but they are wall mounted and I don’t know if there is any going back at this point and I love it.
