I didn't think Kyrie was capable of getting his shit together and start playing at his level consistently again. I was proven wrong.
It's amazing what happens when you stop native american incense burning and other bullshit antics. He used to be my favorite #NBA player until he stopped playing basketball and decided to educate the world on society issues, and failed miserably. Maybe he is mentally right again.
Not all things are meant to last forever. Their impact was HUGE to developer space. It made programming so much easier and the model worked for over a decade plus! An incredible place to go learn and find answers when you ran into some most ridiculous problems at work.
Now, their traffic has been dying. They didn't jump to AI, they tried to resist it. But developers left them, and have been leaving them. What are they supposed to do? lay down and die?
The thumbnails, the videos, DOOM and GLOOM, he has been dooming for YEARS, 5 to be exact.
I saw one from two years ago where he was saying "prepare to go hungry", and similar nonsense.
I just don't get it how people get to this insane level. But I guess it makes some money for him? I don't know enough about youtube monetization to know for sure
It was really sad to leave Cabo, we had a blast for sure. Met some cool people, saw some cool things, relaxed a ton.
Whenever I travel now I am almost amazed how connected and easy everything is. Anything you want, anywhere you want it, just make sure you have a wallet with you.
Anywho, back at it now. It will be good to dive into the markets and some code when kids go back to school on Monday.
"Just for a cost of coffee cup a [insert time period]" has become an overused sales copy. I roll my eyes whenever I see it now and immediately move on.
I have been using the latest premium claude model Opus for a several weeks now, and it's blowing my mind pretty much daily.
It's so good that I fear I will become a non-functioning coder without it in a few months. I don't even bother starting to code without claude window open.
Scary. A little bit. But I think our code monkey days of banging on a keyboard are behind us.
I'm back from the cruise and I see the #markets didn't do anything of major interest. That's nice.
A good time was had by all on the trip. I kept my expectations low, but man, they were exceeded. There was so much to do on the ship, I could easily spend another week on it.
I snapped this photo when my wife and I went on a hike on Catalina Island while the kids stayed on the ship in the kids' watch areas they had there.
The #cruise life is over, and it's back to reality.
Going on a family vacation next week, 5 day cruise, connectivity might be tight and I am trying to decide what to do with the portfolio. Leaving on Tuesday, supposedly big market move expected that day. Wouldn't that be perfect :)
Feeling chatter out there with traders bracing for $NVDA earnings tomorrow after close. That stock has grown in such a big beast and can move the markets by itself.
For myself, it is what it is, it will do what it will do. Carrying on.
