Since the advent of near-universal touchless payments I have made several international trips without once interacting with the local physical currency.

@seldo heh, even in Berlin there are a lot of cash-only locations. Go outside of Berlin and you're screwed without cash (e.g. because lot of locations take proprietary maestro cards, not credit cards) 😅

@janl @seldo That's only true for bigger german cities. I still often go to rural german towns.

a) You often only have 1-2 choices for a certain thing
b) Often those choices only take cash (or "EC-Karte", so no credit card)

Are there any nice off-the-shelf, open-source, react-based design systems?

@onelson @seldo https://react-spectrum.adobe.com/react-aria/react-aria-components.html is nice. It's Alpha, so take it with a grain of salt but @devongovett (+ team) does great continuous work on those. Found it easier to work with as with only the hooks.

I guess if someone needs another side-project, they should build https://ui.shadcn.com/ with React Aria Components
