One of the things I find cool about Kbin is the fact that it's a platform for both thread aggregation and microblogging. How much do you use the latter side of things? Do you make microblog posts, actively browse the microblog tab, view them in your home feed, or rarely touch them?
Is there a way to restore deleted account? I accidentally (not really) deleted my account @alfisya . That was my main account as to mod two communities !solus and !serpentos . That account also has profile picture and banner set. All of this makes me kinda sad. Should I cc admin and moderator? It feels kinda rude. Thank you!
Meta just announced that they are trying to integrate Threads with ActivityPub (Mastodon, Lemmy, etc.). We need to defederate them if we want to avoid them pushing their crap into fediverse....
sopuli.xyz was my first instance because it was the biggest one that didn’t require registration approval, but after Lemmy became popular I switched to lemmy.world because sopuli was defederated from lemmygrad.ml
My favourite instance is lemy.lol because it uses 0.19 rc version, has short domain name, and nice UI theme, and that’s why I choosed it for my account
I was trying to do a memory test to see how far back 3.5 could recall information from previous prompts, but it really doesn’t seem to like making pseudorandom seeds. 😆
I started using Lemmy since September 2022 I think, but I rarely open it, two weeks ago I was permabanned on reddit for report abuse, then semi-unbanned, so I deleted my account, and now I’m starting to use Lemmy actively, there are a lot more servers and users now and I found a new nice server.
