Are moderators allowed to ban people and list a fake reason? This conservative has defamed me by listing the reason as homophobia. Kinda funny coming from a right winger lol. Is this acceptable on lemm.ee?

I was using imgur now to upload pictures, but for none of my posts it shows a thumbnail for me in jerboa. It does at least for some of those using lemmy.world, so i assume this may be something lemm.ee specific? Thumbnails seem to be shown for images hosted on catbox.moe or other instances. I just don’t get what the difference...

There’s presently !asklemmy and !asklemmee, but both have low activity and appear to be unmoderated. Removing communities is probably reserved as a last resort, and seeking some moderators may be preferable, so I thought I might ask about’em to raise some attention....

So, I thought Hexbear defederated from us a little while back, and we, in turn, defederated from them. Why do I keep seeing occasional (new) Hexbear posts in the “All” feed, lately? Did the defederation get reversed? Is it somehow a bug?

I just joined lemm.ee from lemmy.world. I was drawn to lemm.ee bc it federates with all the right instances....

I’m subscribed to a couple of communities where those bots post regularly. I noticed a drop in content recently and realized I haven’t seen those bots for the past week. I’m trying to figure out where they got blocked and was wondering if our instance blocked them. Anyone have an idea?

If I close all lemm.ee tabs that I have opened for a session it always logs me out and I have to relog, which is so annoying, especially after having 2FA enabled. Is this only me or has nobody else reported this issue?...

After the tumultuous 0.19.0/0.19.1 update over the holidays, the 0.19.2 update was so quick and smooth, i didn’t even notice!...
