I logged into my Bluesky account last night for the first time in six months. It was pretty quiet in my feed, and a lot of the accounts I followed when I signed up, even the big names, have become inactive. Are Bluesky users migrating elsewhere, or just quitting social media altogether?
@lothcat@DugJAX That’s the first thing I’ve heard that makes me want to give Bluesky a try but it always feels like an effort to me especially when I’m so established on here.
Pros of joining this instance: it’s well-established, with an excellent admin and moderation, and the code of conduct, server rules, and policies align with my values.
In "Galaxy's Child", La Forge's response to Leah Brahms calling out his over-familiarity and telling him off for creating the holographic simulation of her has not aged well. She didn't give consent, so she has a right to feel violated.
"The Lost Future of Pepperharrow" features a young autistic girl named Six, a character who's made all the more interesting by the time period the novel is set in. She was also in "The Watchmaker of Filigree Street", but has a more substantial role in this book.

"Ghost: The Musical" is the summer production at the theatre where I volunteer. I went to the preview show tonight, and it's a fantastic adaptation of the 1990 movie.
