Here's something I can't figure out. This, not very flattering, image is rotated the right way on production. It's rotated the right way in the bucket. It's rotated the wrong way locally, for some reason.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Next.js's Image component. This doesn't happen when I use a classic <image> html element.

Any ideas?

@amxmln @mrflix Not sure I can follow. :D This particular image is being displayed the right way on production. I'm not sure if stripping the meta data would result in it being rotated the wrong or right way.

A while ago, I read about the psycholgical effect that kicks in when someone tries to fight for a good cause, but then makes a tiny mistake.

We are very hard on hypocrisy because our brains like when things add up.

I.e. a climate activist with a plastic cup triggers much harder than Elon taking a 5 minute flight in his private jet every other day.

The first feels wrong, while the second just meets our expectations.

I can't stop seeng this everywhere ever since.

@marcoarment I don't think it matters anymore but just fyi: The Kindle can be forced to start up more quickly. It's being slow is kind of a feature. I don't know how that behaves in combination with those ✨special offers✨ though.

Today I added a way to answer questions you've missed. When visiting a friend's profile you can unlock their answers by answering yourself.

@hanspagel I don't think Mailgun is free anymore, or am I misunderstanding something? Seems to me like you get a 30 day trial and have to pay after that.

What's your beef with Mailjet? @pwa seems to like it!
