Feeling a lot better than yesterday. Thankfully. The youngest two have softball practice tonight, so I'll be attending. But my goodness did we get some rain yesterday! Wet fields galore!
Me on a Thursday, thinking it's a Wednesday cause the week is thrown off from the Monday holiday and me being sick yesterday so wanting to post the new Mothica for Music Women Wednesday...
Currently home with a wicked headache that made it rough to open my eyes this morning. I am generally not a person who gets migraines, but with my body's response to this headache and the feelings I've had, yea - this falls into that category.
Slept some of it off, took some medicine. Still not great.
@GregHester Thanks. Here's hoping it passes soon. It's gotten better with laying down / nap and some acetaminophen. But, it's not gone. It's still like...in there.
Okay, so this week's Tune Tuesday from @Kitty has a theme of "It's For You" from @derthomas. The idea being you can dedicate a song to someone on Fedi.
@mdmrn Haha, thank you for this! Funny thing about this post is, when it was posted, one of the songs from her album had just played about 2 - 3 songs prior so it was still very fresh on my mind!
@mdmrn Thank you! Here's something for you, I think you'll like it, I had to not be obvious and pick something that's not They Might be Giants 😅

So, I had blood work done recently. I have it done regularly as I have high cholesterol. The doctor wants to check to ensure my meds are working. This time I had a testosterone panel.
My numbers came back fine. Close to the middle-ish of the "normal" range for a man of my age.
I did need to get it checked. Overall I'm fine and there's no indication of medical issues based on my testosterone levels
A lot of men tend not to talk about this or other types of testing for themselves. I know my Dad never really did.
We should.
There's no shame in whatever your testosterone levels are, regardless of what the back or your mind or society tries to tell you.
Anyway - stay healthy. Be kind to yourself. Fight the lies society tells you.
Today is sports day at the elementary school, so I am off now to go check it out and cheer for my two favorite 4th graders on Team Blue. Got a picnic lunch on my back too.
Later, weather permitting, we have a softball make up game for the girls too. Hope you have a great Friday and great weekend.
