Its been over 3 months since I got the Boox Palma. I thought its a good time to look at its DNS queries because I am aware its made by a company registered in China.

According to my NextDNS stats, there is nothing to worry about.

Beeper is acquired by Automattic.

I have been using Beeper for over a year now and I feel much better now that Beeper has joined Automattic.

@cliophate I still only use the Kindle app and the readwise app. Both work very well on the Palma. I know the Pro version of Moon Reader can sync with Calibre and works well on eink...

Bitwarden has been killing it lately.. giving @1password a run for its money.

1PW only supports Fastmail

Bitwarden’s integration also appears more polish. One still cannot create a masked email address from the iOS 1password app.

I've never realized how enormous the difference in quality between a 4K Blu-Ray and a 4K stream is. Do I really need to get my favourite movies on Blu-Ray?

It’s similar to the difference in lossless audio. If you have the right equipment you can tell the difference between a Spotify stream vs a Hi res Apple Music stream.

The difference between 4K streaming vs blu ray in my humble view is more significant

I got one a month ago. Basically it’s the reason why my iPhone is kept outside my bedroom at night. The Palma is for reading and controlling lights and SONOS in my bedroom.

Reader, kindle and Libby all work well enough.

It is fantastic. E ink on android 🤖 😻

Sometimes, I really do not know why I do what I do.. for example, I am happy with my blogging platform (ghost) but I created an account on pika.page... For no reason what so ever.

So now I have a blog on mc.pika.page

I wouldnt count on my future self to do anything further, at least for now.
