Oh geez, I somehow drowned after getting stuck in a bubble elevator (which shouldn't even be possible) and have lost all of my items, including a full set of enchanted netherite armor and tools.

It might have been something to do with me eating a piece of watermelon at the exactly the wrong time while going up the elevator, and somehow clipping into the ceiling above the bubble elevator, because I just suddenly started taking damage and couldn't move.

I'm going to need to trade a stack of gold in order to get an enchanted book with Soul Speed III (or two Soul Speed IIs to combine), but that is fine.

The one thing that will be a pain to replace (other than the netherite) is my Swift Sneak III leggings, since sneaking through an ancient city to find a replacement is going to be very very slow with plain leggings.

How hard is it to replace the elytra? I've never gotten one because I refuse to go murder a magnificent dragon who has never done anything untoward to me.

I can’t help thinking that it is a sad indictment on British culture that people are so amazed when someone can speak 2 languages fluently. Brits are conditioned to expect foreigners to learn English, & moch them if they can’t speak fluently. Being a monoglot is nothing to be proud of, and I wish my own language skills were better.

On Instagram I try to limit who I follow to people I know and are at least casually friends with.

My test is, if I spotted them in the grocery store would I walk up and say hi?

It's been a good rule of thumb so far.

I mean it was so weird for them to make copper the most plentiful mineral in the game, and only allow it to be used to create lightning rods and spyglasses. The only useful thing to do with copper is smelt ore for the XP.

In terms of the desires of BIPOC users, you will need to ask them, but my impression is that quote posts are a useful tool for calling people out on their bullshit.
