I never knew Shana as a kitten, i adopted her when she was 2, from someone who thought it would be ok to leave her alone all day in a single room flat.
The stem side. I enjoy them as long as they are slightly green, so usually the skin breaks easily when bent. Otherwise I will use a sharp knife and make an horizontal incision at the start of the stem to facilitate the peeling.
I am aware of the way monkeys open them, tried and didn’t like it because of the dark mushy part at the end of the fruit, opening from the stem allows to easily leave it behind.
Same thing happened with the 101 Dalmatians 20 years ago:

I’ve been discussing with my sister (a big fan of her cats) about what lives we would save in an emergency. I think a human live is worth more than an animal’s no question asked but she thinks otherwhise. So to end this discussion I’m writing here....
I would save my cat every time. I don’t value human life above her life. She’s been there for me for the past 15 years and helped me through the darkest times.
She’s a Siamese chocolate point. In Siamese cats, there is a mutation for the genes of an enzyme (Tyrosinase) that inhibits the production of melanin above a certain temperature. Where the body temperature is lower (extremities, airways), that enzyme is deactivated and melanin is produced, allowing the fur to darken.
Siamese kitten are born completely white, as their temperature is kept high everywhere in the womb, and rapidly start to color after birth.
I agree, Karma was such a burden on the Spezsite, and even though most instances don’t maintain an aggregate score, the temptation to please and self-censor is still there. I didn’t know it was possible to setup the user account to hide them, but I’ve done it now.
