Took a research survey looking into effectiveness of Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy ( ) training.

I am looking forward to the training.

I'm peeved about the survey. They can't list every religion in the world, but with Neo-Pagan religions being the fastest growing cluster of religions in the USA, do better than sticking us in "OTHER"! Limits the research effectiveness & hides us.

Kinda sad. Checked up on that friend (actual friend, not like the ex-boss of deeply Q-Anon whacko fame) I was talking about last week and... yeah. Apparently he stayed down the anti-vaxxer rabbit hole.

So I won't contact him next time I'm in town.

I can tell you one reason why he was susceptible that my other friends generally aren't - he's an attractive, blond, affluent, super-privileged white guy who I suspect has never noticed his privilege.

And I guess that trumps intelligence.

Now I'm kinda afraid to make contact with anyone I've been out of touch with, because you never fucking know.

I once had a lovely friend. After some years apart, she went Qanon. I quietly unfriended her on Facebook, but still mourn.

I am a small server operator. It’s now been at least four days that this spam problem continues to be an issue.

By now, every admin should be taking steps to mitigate spam. If you aren’t taking necessary steps, I may have to make some recommendations.

In my case, I've shut down all new registrations at mastodon.clinicians-exchange.org, and told my very few human users to migrate to other instances. I just don't have time to update software at the immediate moment. Only reason instance is still up is that I have an army of bots serving up rss feeds of psychology and healthcare related info. Will update instance later, or migrate bots elsewhere and shutdown.
