I'm more confident that I did indeed see the after seeing others in Georgia post pics. It's kind of weird to have a bucket list thing crossed off without leaving home. Then again, I'd still like to see them with my eyes instead of my phone. 😁 Anyway, two very amateur pics showing the during and after.

The "Three Body Problem" on Netflix on it's own is bad, but once you compare it to the book, it's much much worse.

The ONLY really good book to movie adaptation I have ever seen was "Silence of the lambs". It more or less just turned the book into a script. The most accurate adaptation I've seen to this day.

@Mrfunkedude The Chinese Three Body tv series is pretty good. I haven't seen the Netflix one, and am halfway through the last book in the trilogy.

I think the "Good Omens" adaptation was top notch. Speaking of Gaiman, "American Gods" had a great first season, but then it just wasn't good which kinda broke my heart.

Also, "The Princess Bride" and "The NeverEnding Story" are favs.

Just got home from the tire shop and first thing I had to check is if Mercury is retrograde. I clearly said the "front passenger" tire had a slow leak, but somehow the desk person heard "back passenger." Imagine my befuddlement when the desk person told me they couldn't find anything wrong with the tire. Luckily the tech popped his head in and said "But there IS a leak in the front passenger tire." 🙃

Good thing was that it was only $25, which after a $300 doc visit seems very cheap.
