What a cool piece! Never seen it before either, though not like I’m some connoisseur lol. I imagine this was really fun to paint too. Like you would learn a lot about refraction, which is neat. Thanks for sharing!
This sounds wonderful! Adding to my list of cookbooks to purchase. I’m getting a bit out of hand with it these days lol, but this seems like a super worthy title to bump to the top of my list. Thanks so much for sharing!
Most of the video games I’ve played were pretty good. The only one I can think of that I didn’t like was MySims Kingdom for the Nintendo DS. Dropped that pretty quickly. It was a long while ago, but I’ll guess it was because there were too many fetch quests and annoying controls.
This is so true. I bought the anniversary collection years ago. When I went to play SF1 I was flabbergasted. It’s legitimately terrible. Even by standards back then. Though, as someone who is a bit obsessed currently, I am so glad they kept up with it.

I was thinking about that when I was dropping my 6 year old off at some hobbies earlier - it’s pretty much expected to have learned how to ride a bicycle before starting school, and it massively expands the area you can go to by yourself. When she went to school by bicycle she can easily make a detour via a shop to spend some...
As a musician this is both hilarious and amazing. The amount of awesome moments at shows where people clap and start speeding up and get so off and ruin the moment is just so damn high. Yay for Spain. The world needs to learn from you!
Hmm. I haven’t taken him to be as scary as some of you. I agree with your assessment, in that his skill set in the wrong hands could be dangerous. But he is much different than trump. Most notably, he’s not white, and the people he is courting actually do care about that, whether they admit it or not. Second, he does not have the name recognition or place in the American zeitgeist that trump had when he first ran. I saw someone mention he is probably angling to be a conservative pundit, which makes sense to me. He has to know that the conservative base will never embrace a brown person like him, so running seems like it’s more about setting up a career for himself, rather than truly seeking the office. At any rate, he’s insane and a truly dispicable person, so here’s hoping he eats shit.
It’s a pretty interesting scenario to imagine. What is bothersome is that I can’t see a situation where it wouldn’t lead to more right wing domestic terrorism. Which is just terrible, but almost seems inevitable next year no matter what happens really. Here is hoping we get through this with as little harm as possible.
Just inherited a bunch of cucumbers from a friend’s garden. I love them just on their own with some salt, and have made many a salad using them. I’m curious what kinds of fun things you all may use them for. Even if you feel like it’s basic please share as I will be eating cucumbers for the next several days straight lol....
Most of what I have read has said that our need for protein is incredibly overstated, and most Americans eat way too much. From what I understand, it’s fiber that we need to eat more. I guess it goes without saying, but the takeaway is that nutrition is very complex and needs can vary greatly from person to person.
Eternal Champions. Such a cool concept, a great cast of characters, and great graphics for the time. Spent so many hours playing it with my brothers growing up. Xavier was the fucking best.
Stay defederated. On top of all the great points already made, I don’t understand people demanding instances behave a certain way. If you don’t like the way this instance is handled go find another one. People are just so whiny.
Am I the only one who thinks it’s rude to just ask someone for a hit off a joint like that? Been to lots of festivals and shows, and been offered plenty of things, but never once thought to go ask someone for a piece of whatever they are enjoying. Seems pretty presumptuous to me? Maybe it’s more common in other parts of the world though.
For me, it’s my mom. She wasn’t the perfect mom but she did what she could to raise my brother and I and I’m grateful for that. And I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for her.
Going camping for a friend’s bday Thursday through Saturday in Malibu Creek State Park! Verrrrry excited as I’ve been wanting to go camping so bad, it’s been a few years since I’ve gone and it’s such a crucial reset for me. I think it has to do with growing up and camping a lot. Lots of memories to rekindle, lots of moments for reflection and processing. Anyways, hope you all have a great weekend!
I enjoyed squabblr at first but the dev has already made terrible choices so I’m not into it. The community is good though, so that’s a bummer. Raddle is insane. They are leftist fascists. I’m super left, but a bunch of teenagers pining for anarchy is absurd. Its so clear that most of them don’t know what they are talking about in the slightest. I noped out of there quickly.
ok this was nonsense. like, down under pulls the weirdest shit. remember when they brought back art simone for no reason at all, and we were just supposed to accept that as valid? this is dumb too. hoping it picks up, because season 2 was so good!
