The Ohio Republican party is going to try to find any way they can to stop this from taking effect, but when will they finally realize that abortion rights are popular? When will they realize overturning RoevWade is an albatross around their neck? They just got destroyed in a red state. It will happen every time it comes up to a vote. They just don’t get it.

Democrats should try to get an amendment like this on every single ballot for 2024 because it would lead to a bloodbath.

The first one is an option, but most of my American relatives will barely watch British productions, let alone anything in a foreign language. The second one… eh, good luck. Sure, there are plenty of talented unknown and new actors but most of them aren’t going to scab when they know things will eventually go back to normal. That would be a really bad career move.

This is one of Trumps tells. If he says “Believe me” or “I guarantee” he is lying. I mean he is almost always lying anyways, but those are definite tells. They still believe it, but they also know this kind of gross bigotry is going to lose them votes. Even in Louisiana only 27% of people identify as evangelicals. It’s funny watching them scramble around like cockroaches who have had a light shone on them, but it’s also pathetic.

The article says Meta already tried to buy them out four times. So this company is waiting for a bigger payout or they don’t plan to sell. With a court decision on their side they will have much more leverage to force Meta’s hand.

Oh, he’s dead in the water this cycle for sure. But in 4 or 8 years he’ll still be around while trump will be gone and any damage done now will linger. Dukakis was sunk because he looked kind of silly riding a tank. Howard Dean’s warcry turned out to be more of a screech. This completely wrecked their national election chances.

I will agree that it’s better to go after people like DeSantis based on policy, but I’ll take destroying their public perception too.

Bill Clinton, Bush the Second and Obama were good ages to be Pres (if nothing else). But the notable thing is that they are all Boomers and were elected by Boomers. Would the current establishment let someone 47 (like Clinton) be selected? Nope, they will hang onto power as long as they can. There’s something about the Boomer mentality that just won’t let them hand over the reigns to the younger generations.
