@vesatimonen it seems the four piece solution flips a piece.

Any Idea why I'm unable to update due to "No space left on device" even if there are 23G available?

Edit: The issue was caused by number of inodes.

@danielsiepmann If not the inodes, you might want to clear out /tmp or even look at your boot partition. https://discourse.nixos.org/t/what-to-do-with-a-full-boot-partition/2049/11

Is it possible to run a local LLM/Machine learning tool on all my photos to transcribe all text in them and add the text to the meta data of the image file so that I can search trough the text in the images in any photo application I choose yet?

pbsds,
@pbsds@snabelen.no avatar

@forteller could likely be achieved with clip+llama and an ocr engine. But it's going to be a lot of work to tweak and get just right

@cafkafk uh, could I now risk getting my device blacklisted by the it department at my uni when I build nixpkgs? This should be gated by a config option

pbsds,
@pbsds@snabelen.no avatar

@AngryAnt @cafkafk some would love to configure whether to allow torrenting as they can configure whether to allow unfree

    I really like the PDM package manager: https://pdm.fming.dev/
    whenever I try out a new or modified workflow, it works first time, every time. it feels magical, after so many years fighting with Python packaging issues
    I sponsor it and I would recommend it to anyone

    @whitequark how would you day it compares against poetry? I've used poetry for a long time, and keep running into issue after issue
