Auch eine persönliche, es sich leisten zu können, Teilhabe am gesellschaftlichen Leben, eine Präsentation dessen, wenigstens das erreicht zu haben.

Das kleinteiligste Wohnzimmer auf Steroiden, immer verfügbar, überall einsetzbar. Rollt.

Das Auto ist fantastisch, lässt es doch als einziges Eigentum zu, sich auf der ganzen Welt heimisch zu fühlen.

das gebrauchte model y's noch so viel teurer sind als die 3er ärgert mich ja... ich will ja auch lieber was kompakteres - problem ist die heckklappe... und allgemein was und wie man damit transportieren und ggf ziehen kann (naja ziehen ist beim y auch nicht so krass)

oh gott jetzt hab ich im fediverse indirekt sympatisierend von der firma von dem dessen namen nicht gesagt werden darf gesprochen wegrenn

Kangoo bin ich die letzten Jahre mit gefahren. So noch Benziner Gurken aus mehreren Generationen.

Alles andere wäre dieser dämliche Life-Style-Scheiß. Willste was transportieren dann nimm den o.ä. Wenn du vor dem Mäces mit deinem Untersatz angeben willst, dann sicher nicht.

Ich refaktoriere und renoviere gerade ein antikes Project von 2003, das seinen letzten Commit in 2013 gesehen hat.

Es ist Java 7 und Python 2.5.

Ich bin also fröhlich am renovieren und war bis eben guter Dinge. Dann fand ich Code, der in modernem Python in etwa dies tut und jetzt hab ich Hospitalismus.

Mein Anthroposophie.Blog ist down.

Wordpress hat den Umzug zu einem neuen Hoster verkackt. Vorher wollten sie meinen Domainnamen monatelang nicht freigeben. Und jetzt? Jetzt reagiert mal wieder nur der Antwort-Bot auf Beschwerden. Fuck you, Automattic.

Auch lustig, dass sie bei WP letztens mein Blog einfach ohne Angaben von Gründen komplett gelöscht haben (ich bin wohlgemerkt brav zahlender Kunde!). Das ist nicht die erste Merkwürdigkeit mit diesem Verein. 100% Willkür, null Kundenservice.

Ich denke du redest da mit den falschen, m.E.n. müsstest du die NS Records bei 1api.net auf den neuen Provider setzen.

Ich habe noch nie gehört, wenn ein Mensch bei einem Flugzeugabsturz, Zugunglück oder einem Crash auf der Autobahn umgekommen ist: "Es hätte auch andere Wege und Mittel gegeben."

Z.B. Elberadweg (D10)

Es gibt Abschnitte, wo man mit dem Rad auf benutzungspflichtigen Buckelpisten unterwegs ist, bis zum nächsten Kaff, dann Seitenwechsel, 90er Jahre Pflaster und am Ortsausgang alles wieder zurück.

Der MIV ballert während dessen in voll gedämpften Wohnzimmern über den Babypopo-Asphalt.

Wir müssen nicht über Fahrradfahrende reden, in der Vorstellung dieses Auto wäre nur knapp einen Meter breit würde wir haargenau das gleiche erleben. Es geht nicht Auto gegen X, sondern der Stärkere gegen den Schwächeren.

I'm currently performing the first (Talos) system upgrade to the new Kubernetes cluster that is running on. It feels quite special! I'm happy to inform you that everything is going well so far.

During the upgrade, we experienced a downtime of approximately 2-3 seconds when the database switched to an already upgraded node. That's a success in my opinion :)

    @bikolinux @SheDrivesMobility Ich möchte mich da ganz offen gegenüber den Übertragungen der hiesigen Autowerbung zeigen.

    Treibsand, Schlamm, Rinnsale, die plötzlich zu reisenden Strömen werden, steile Klippen, Unwetter, gleißende Sonne ... auch gern einen Strand mit Palmen, im Hintergrund der Tsunami, der zur verwöhnungsgradgerechten Flucht mit dem eigenen Panzer einlädt. Oder eine leer Stadt ohne Menschen.

    Warum da nicht auch parken? So als Einstimmung.

    So the Head of Design, Franz von Holzhausen, was seen driving a matte black Cybertruck in Santa Monica.

    The age of "fake it until you make it" is so over! We officially have entered the era of "Just fake it!"

    Just a bad hood seam, which is almost refreshing in that at least it's a relatively even bad seam. It's just way wider than it should be, which in fairness is actually one of Tesla's signature brand looks. It's actually pretty rare to see a Tesla whose hood doesn't have some kind of fitment issues, but here it's more obvious because of those uncompromisingly straight lines. At least the matte wrap helps with most of the oilcanning and other surfacing issues, at least until it gets covered in bird shit and other unwashable detritus, at which point it will go back to looking as crap as every other Cybertruck.
    Just a comically bad fit on the rear taillights of the Cybertruck, so extreme is the mismatch that it almost looks like it was done on purpose, except that it obviously wasn't. Tolerances are measured in centimeters here, not millimeters (let alone microns). Note also the thin, isolated side panel on the right, looking like it wants to cut you. Vehicles aren't supposed to look like that!
    A wheel arch leans out from the vast expanse of of the Cybertruck's entirely flat bed flank panels, creating a cave at one corner, whose dark expanse lures the eye in. From here it looks like the widest entrance point could fit a child's fingers, just to pick a random example, although the unevenness of the seam suggests that said child's fingers would then quickly become stuck. More to the point, it just looks cheap and shitty for a Fisher Price toy, let alone a six figure truck.

    OK, it's the staging env you tested on, good, but uhm, sorry, but what's the usecase to have multiple database instances without inline replication, why should the application take care of replication and sharding. What's your usecase for that?

    @dustinrue That said, wait for the vendor of this amazing WordPress plugin, that tries to solve problems already solved on an other layer, when doing core upgrades.

    Sorry, but I don't get it. I'm working for an WordPress agency for about three years now, and I don't get why people tend to solve almost every infrastructure problem by working around the operation of WordPress from within WordPress.

    In your case, there are a lot of database replication, load balancing solutions... So Why?

    @dustinrue I'd like to operate software that does not try to reinvent the wheel and that said, not tries to maraud in other's field.

    I have my reasons too. If you love your plugins, then go for it. I know that a stable, replicated MySQL cluster is much better than hyperdb or similar, cause it scales and in best case it is operated by people knowing the business.

    @dustinrue We are using a percona cluster on Kubernetes. For now the LB is made by haproxy, but we could also switch to proxysql to make the routing to be based on the statements.

    @FraumitFahrrad @fedibikes_de Kommt drauf an, es gibt Abschnitte, da kann man sehr gut auf beiden Seiten fahren bzw. kann man es davön abhängig machen was man sehen will.

    Es gibt aber auch Abschnitte da will man nicht auf der einen oder anderen Seite fahren, weil schlechte Wege bzw. Wegführung.
