projectsquared,

She can also see North Korea from her house.

projectsquared,

More and I are in this exact boat. Want to find something - ANYTHING - else but can’t risk losing that pension. Eggs in one basket and all that.

projectsquared,

This is not true.

projectsquared,

Teacher for 20 years. No, it isn’t.

I’m not responding further as this person is simply spreading misinformation to spread misinformation. To anyone else reading this, a simple web search will prove these statements about teachers being paid when they aren’t working false.

  • projectsquared,

I’m also running an Ifixit battery and have had zero problems save for the original battery being DOA out of the box. 3 in a row is really bad luck.

    projectsquared,

Is this on iOS? My Mac has had WiFi disabled for six months, running Ethernet only. I have never had to turn it back off. Latest version of Monterey.

    projectsquared,

They’re running Ventura, so they’re using something to get there. :)

    projectsquared,

Looks like that website got the ol’ “hug of death”. :)

    projectsquared,

Open core legacy patcher has kept my 2012 MBP able to run modern versions of macos (currently on latest update to Monterey). No stability issues, but AirDrop is flakey and I am no longer able to run anything in a VM using Apple’s hypervisor. It runs well; might be worth looking into for your use case.

    projectsquared,

…and one of the orbiters destroyed by the roof collapsing on it.
