Obviously my big stressor right now is not knowing whether to go back to my PhD and, if not, what to do with my life. We could manage with me not having an income for a couple of months, but not much longer, I have to do something. I’m trying not to fret about this, I have opened myself to opportunities, I’m sure it will all work itself out in time

Ah, our friend we were meeting at the pub tonight has cancelled. I put dinner in the slow cooker for when we got back, oh well, at least dinner is already done. We’ve decided that as it’s a nice evening we’ll stay home and light the fire pit. I’ll have a couple of 0% ciders

Well dinner was very nice https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/slow-cooker-chicken-chasseur I’ll be making that recipe again. And it was warm enough to eat outside! Now chilling by the fire pit, listening to jazz and sipping my drink. All very civilised #food
