Morning! I’m having so much trouble getting to sleep since I changed my med timings. I was up until 1am again last night, even a sleep meditation didn’t do the trick. Still I had nothing particular to get up for, so I slept until 9am. Social worker coming round this afternoon, I can tell her that I’m much improved and probably don’t need her anymore - but! I want to ensure I can get timely support if things go bad again! What’s on your agenda?
I was soooo tempted to nap earlier but I just about managed not to. I think it was a reaction to some hardcore peopling as I got plenty of sleep last night. Now tucked up in bed listening to the BBC Radio 2 Jazz Show
I saw Nigella Lawson was recommending a new cookbook called Greekish and I took a peek at the contents and decided to order it. Just thoroughly enjoyed a baked dish of pasta, spinach and chicken flavoured with lemon, mint, oregano and grated halloumi. Will deffo make again #food
Afternoon! Been too busy to tweet meeting up with my auntie, uncle and cousin who are in west Wales on holiday. Not seen them in person for over a decade! Tired from peopling now. How’s everyone’s day going? The sun has just come out here

After a very wet morning the sun came out here in SW France. What I thought was a cold might have been an allergic reaction to something as I’m feeling better, had an excellent lunch and short walk and I’ve just snuck a peek at the gîte kittens! So an improving situation.
I’ve just spent two hours on admin tasks I haven’t had the strength to do in the past weeks, everything from enquiring who to send my sick note to some financial stuff to trying to get a sitter for Miss Cinnamon when we go away in July. Very tired now! But pleased with what I’ve achieved
@purplepadma Good job! Mme finds life admin demands so much energy anticipating doing it & more if putting tricky stuff off for any reason. Ticked off two of those tricky put-off things today, so feeling pretty pleased with that too.
Just been up to the GP surgery to collect my fit note, umbrella and cagoule job and I changed my trousers for dry leggings when I got in. I will be staying indoors for the rest of the day! The cat is deeply unimpressed by the weather and wants to know why we don’t make it stop
Good morning. I don’t feel as perky and cheerful today, maybe that’s just because of the heavy rain or the fact that I didn’t sleep well. Got to go out into the wet to pick up my fit note and pop into the post office. I’d rather go back to sleep. How do you feel today?
@purplepadma completely get it! I struggle with relatives that I have nothing in common with or completely wildly different views and values. I hope it's a pleasant get together!
@AutisticDoctorStruggles It wasn’t too bad… one awkward moment where they were talking about their friend’s “coloured” boyfriend - “well, he’s jet black” puts in Uncle Trevor. “Yeah, he’s jet black” says Megan, “but she’s our colour. So I can wait until she has her baby, it’s going to be the cutest caramel colour” 🤨 They’re never going to change
I made a lovely roast dinner and Tom and I are just relaxing listening to music together in the living room. When we’ve had a break I will finally get my rhubarb and custard! Looking forward to bedtime with clean sheets and hoping for a better sleep tonight
I’ve actually had a fairly productive day. Now I fully understand and agree that I am/we are all valuable and wonderful even if we don’t “do” or “produce” anything. But I enjoy being productive! I feel good about it.
