Hmm, failed swarm capture. It appears the swarm had already decided to move elsewhere,and rejected the ready made box with wax! I suspect we caught them past the scouting committee decision making process. Like introducing a new proposal after the City Council has approved a subcommittees plan!!

There’s something wrong with my left knee, particularly the back of it. It started when I took a break from running. Squatting, standing quad stretches on that side and things like child’s or hero’s yoga poses are all painful. It eases up once I get moving. It’s not bad enough to see a doctor but I just don’t know if there are any things I should be actively doing or avoiding. Anyone else had this specific injury?

@purplepadma I had a meniscus tear in my left knee back in 2005. I couldn’t walk on that leg for about a week. It still bothers me. I think I got it working in the backyard carrying a heavy rock.

@purplepadma It didn’t hurt that much right afterwards but kept gradually getting worse. I walked down a sloped hallway at work a couple days later and my knee popped and instantly gave out. I had an MRI done a couple weeks later which showed the tear.

Sigh. Restoration company saying this is going to be a big job. All the carpet will have to come out, and ceilings and walls in several of the rooms. And I caught it within an hour and a half of the break.

Grocery Store: 8 min / 1.4 miles
Elementary School: 5 min / 0.9 miles
Hardware Store ❌ and Big Box Retailer ❌ (across a busy freeway area with no bicycle lanes... death trap)

    Doh! I grew up in and somebody just pointed out to me (today) that "Deseret" means "honeybee" (from the Book of Mormon -- the religious book, not the Broadway play). 🤷

    Hmm, looks like a stretching from California to Wisconsin on 7/19. I'm curious how often gets into the hundreds.

    @ai6yr I used to live there. Not that often, but even the 90’s are unbearable with the high humidity.
