rabbit_wren,

Wow, that’s a lot! Is it at least bundled with internet? I haven’t bought cable tv in over a decade, so I’ve no idea what the real price of it is after the intro prices they try to lure me in with.

rabbit_wren,

Not unique to ADHD, perhaps, but the added step is a bigger deal to those with ADHD. Having to stop what I’m doing to make a call makes it more likely that I won’t complete my original task. I have trouble completing tasks on a daily basis so needless interruptions like this make me feel more annoyed than would probably be considered reasonable by someone without ADHD .There’s also nothing that’s terribly unique to ADHD because our symptoms are things that happen to most non-adhd people occasionally turned up in frequency and severity to a debilitating degree.

Go outside or go to jail: Top NC Republican targets trans restroom rights (www.rawstory.com)

Christian nationalist North Carolina Republican Lt. Governor Mark Robinson, currently the leading candidate for the GOP nomination for governor, launched an attack on transgender women years after the Tar Heel State’s last GOP governor cost the state millions – and possibly billions – of dollars, and cost him his political...

rabbit_wren,

Happy Birthday, from one old piece of shit to another!

rabbit_wren,

For me it’s not the fun kind of super power, like Spider-Man. It’s more like The Hulk: can’t control when it shows up, can’t control when it stops, can’t control it while I’m using it and makes me do things I normally wouldn’t (like the dishes) and it’s usually fueled by strong emotions then followed by a crash.

rabbit_wren,

Nearly every day for me. I love having my headphones on while I walk to work or am on the bus. I had to buy a new phone about a month ago and I exclusively shopped phones that came with a headphone jack.

rabbit_wren,

I also have ADHD and I only use wired headphones so that I don’t lose my phone while I’m out of the house. If I’ve forgotten that I put my phone down and start to walk away, the tugging of the wire alerts me right away. It’s been especially useful when I’m using public transportation because losing my phone on the bus is so much more difficult to deal with than if I just lose it around the house somewhere. I do get caught on things a lot and I hate it, but I guess I have more of a tolerance for that than I do losing my phone. So funny to me how the same condition can be so different from person to person!

rabbit_wren,

It’s the piece of human excrement that killed my friend and nearly all of her 1st grade students at Sandy Hook Elementary.

rabbit_wren,

I’m not a programmer, but I think I see what you’re trying to do. I have ADHD and less-than-ideal eyesight. This is easier to read, comprehension-wise, in that I’m not getting “lost” in the text and losing my place and having to re-read paragraphs; but the font you’re using is a little blurrier than the default (I think it’s the serifs) and is a little more difficult for me to physically read. Maybe increasing the font size or changing to a different font would work better?

rabbit_wren,

I’m fortunate enough to be able to walk to and from work every day. These “roll coal” bastards just hate me for it. I think it must really chap their assess to see little ol’ me bopping down the street listening to my tunes and not needing an emotional support truck the way they do.

rabbit_wren,

“It’s powered by a forsaken child?!”

rabbit_wren,

That sounds terrifying, hope you stay safe
