I used to think that too, until I realized that verb conjugation in English is not decided by whether the subject is singular or plural. “You” can be both singular or plural, yet we always say “you are” and never “you is”. Same for the pronoun “they”. It’s always “they are”.
Unless you is also willing to normalize “you is”, I think “they are” is good enough.
I did a bit of searching, and Korean really does use meong meong (멍멍) for barking. It’s just that Korean romanization isn’t that intuitive for an English speaker. The https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eo_%28hangul%29 vowel sounds like an uhh, and not like the eo in “meow”.
I know you meant that as a joke but I feel the need to point out that acupuncture isn’t just randomly stabbing needles in your body (nor into your veins) just in case someone didn’t know. Acupuncture is inserting needles into very specific positions on your body according to what your symptoms are or what you want to achieve.
Gee, people in the US need to be this cautious when protesting? Where I live it’s totally fine to just casually show up at protests, take selfies, talk to people and whatnot.
Why does everyone talk about port forwarding when it comes to Mullvad and seeding? When I tried out Mullvad and torrenting last month I was able to seed just fine. Is there something I’m missing?
Genuine question: If I use a cryptocurrency such as Monero for its privacy benefits (only for spending, not as an investment), am I indirectly making crypto mining more profitable and hurting the environment?
ps. I don’t use any crypto yet.
Edit: actually I don’t care that much about private money. What if I were to just use some crypto because it’s convenient? Would that be bad?
