Don’t worry! I was also frustrated by the fact that there is only a macOS version available, but after a little digging, I found this on their FAQ:
Q: What platforms does Zed support?
A: As of now, we only support macOS.
[…]
As a general timeframe, you can expect us to begin work on supporting these platforms [Linux and Windows] after Zed is open source, but before version 1.0. Any news will be posted to our platform-tracking issues.
See also this issue. It seems like they have already begun making a Linux version.
I’ve been trying out Floorp for a few days now. It’s a great browser but honestly I don’t see that much of a difference compared to regular Firefox. If I had to pick, my favorite feature from Floorp would be the fact that it packages changes that would normally reuuire fiddling with userChrome.css into simple toggles in about:preferences. I especially like how it makes hiding the horizontal tab bar so easy when I use Tree Style Tabs. That being said, I have fully switched over anyways.

Welp, I made a similar thread yesterday regarding Manjaro but I decided to swap to Fedora as my daily driver for stability purposes. Unfortunately since fedora is yet another non Debian distro I need help finding a Syncterm replacement....
I would say that pretty much no one cares about the deprecation of Manifest v2 outside our little tech circle. Heck, not even the tech circle cares too much about this given how many use Chrome anyway. I hate to be saying this, but I’m afraid the author is right.
I don’t speak Bân-lâm-gú unfortunately. I just looked up those words, and they do sound slightly different!
在: tsāi
再: tsài
應該: ing-kai
因: in
(For Chinese learners reading this, please note that the tone markers in the romanization of Bân-lâm-gú (Southern Min, a group of languages including Hokkien, Taiwanese, etc.) is different from those used in Pinyin for Mandarin.)
I also looked up how these words are pronounced in Cantonese. They sure are really different! Mandarin really does have a lot more pairs of homophones and near-homophones compared to other dialects.
On a semi-related note, I think it’s really sad that the majority of Chinese dialects are slowly being replaced by Mandarin.

Speakers of non-English languages, what common mistakes do native speakers make that drive you crazy?
For example, English speakers commonly mix up your/you’re or there/their/they’re. I’m curious about similar mistakes in other languages.
