Got rejected again for my life's work not being good enough apparently. Extremely depressing when you think your portfolio fits the requirements perfectly. Excuse me while I scream into the void.
Our prototype for a "Dungeon Crawler meets Visual Novel" is now public - it's pretty short and missing a ton of stuff, but we wanted to find out as early as possible if people actually might be interested in a game like this. The name is "Mops & Mobs", because in the game you get hired by a dungeon master as janitor; later on you'll have to tend to the needs of the various monsters and creatures - and maybe even save the dungeon! #Godot#GodotEngine#gamedev
Updated Games for Rats to 0.2.1, because the Clamp and Ceil functions didn't work. Hopefully this version also fixes cache problems, so even Firefox should now get the latest version info. #gamedev https://ratrogue.itch.io/games-for-rats
Australian friend @voxel told me to solve the Myst puzzle with the big windmill to activate an elevator somewhere. Are oversized Weihnachtspyramiden not a thing worldwide?! :(
"connected" is now v0.9.0, reintroducing configuration files. A config file can overwrite all the used paths, because it would be a hassle to reset all the paths every time I switch to another project.
Also the SCRIPT node is now more powerful as the amount of in and out connectors can be changed.
@Tijn Yeah, sure, it's easier to play around with it. My gripe is more along the line that such screenshots would (at least I'd think so) look as intimidating as a normal screenshot of a code editor; so sometimes I just wonder if such a screen really catches the right people
Over the weekend we created a game for the bpb game jam 2023. With “we” I mean @ratqueen, @stephanmax, Daniela Müller, Björn Grunewald and myself. The theme was mobility. This was the first time that I was in a team with two programmers, which was quite an interesting experience. I am also happy about our creation ABGEFAHREN, as it became pretty atmospheric and full of potential for interesting content. https://ratking.itch.io/abgefahren
