Oh I dont know, bikepackers just make fun of how much I carry and how long my trips take me 🥲 …on a more serious note I feel like quality content is better than more. This community doesnt feel that quiet to me, especially for quite a niche one on lemmy. I dont mind sharing the community with those goddam elitists 😁 so long as any reddit repost bots that show up are swiftly purged!

Problem solving, and spotting issues or risks before they happen - I guess I learned that skill the hard way when I was younger. I also do computers for fun in my spare and im a bit good, although everyone who doesnt know computers well thinks im some kind of tech wizard, when really I just know how to search engine well and follow instructions. And im good at switching off and going on autopilot in an emergency, im good with first aid and serious incidents.

Ive never dated anyone whos been diagnosed with anything, but I am certainly attracted to quirky people. The last long term relationship was a bit of a train wreck, and I suspect there was some autism there, but she was only ever diagnosed with anxiety, although her cousin, who her family said was just like her, was eventually diagnosed as autistic. We had very different levels of emotional maturity though and that caused a lot of problems, especially around conflict resolution. I suspect she had a personality disorder in tow.
I think you should just assess each person individually and not really screen for divergence. Most people arent going to open with ‘hi im autistic’ anyway, and you could end up doing yourself a disservice worrying about if they fit with you on paper verses just finding out if you fit together organically.
Had been waiting for my pi 5 argon case which got lost in the post before I could set this up. Ive been tinkering with an old SFF PC running arch over the last few months to get a “smart tv” set up going that im happy with, now ive condensed it down into a little debian box that uses a fraction of the electricity. Happy...
