The wind was back today, but I decided to cope with it and head to some places I'd not been to in a while. I did reasonably well, but last night's Biden speech (and Katie Britt's epic fustercluck of a response) must have triggered all the Magas, because they were out in force today on the roads, acting like their typical asshole selfs -- I even saw actual Tr*mpmobiles for the first time in quite a while. I suppose it's good that last night bothered them so much, but I'm sick of them.

The high cost of rapid #COVID tests in the U.S. forces bad choices even on people who would like to be #COVIDcautious.
Because I stockpiled eight tests per person per month for the entire period when they were covered by insurance, and also thanks to my wife's awesome job that keeps her well-supplied with tests, we have as many as we need.

After my first negative Covid test this morning, I wasn't feeling great, but I was feeling somewhat better, although it's still a tough slog in places. My heart rate, while still not great, also was somewhat better. Kept the distance down out of caution, not to mention the temps stuck in the 40s.
