'Maigret' is on Kanopy, two free episodes. I watched the first last evening. Rowan Atkinson doesn't have many lines so he has to use his face for acting purposes. Pretty good, all in all. My dad loved Simenon's books. Now I'll hunt for a couple and try them out.

@Brian_Mahoney The books are mixed bag but generally good. I haven't seen the Atkinson series, though I'm not a big fan of his stuff. The BBC had a series in the early '60s which was very popular and there was another in the '90s though not sure who made that one.

@coldclimate I hate it, but having cleared two houses, I want my kids to have less to do. Boxes with labels like "precious to me, but you can bin this", "family stuff, you might want some of this", "this might be worth something". I keep culling my books, if only to give me some shelf space for other stuff. So many instruments too.

@ivory any chance of getting some kind of post templates? I often make posts that are essentially structured the same (hashtags and mentions) and whilst I can go to an old post, edit it (so the mentions are filled in) and copy all, it would just be nice to be able to drop in a template.
