Is it? The reason mainstream distros like Ubuntu/Debian or RHEL and other distros keep the last 3 or 4 kernels is so that you can go back in case there is incompatibility. also keep at least one old kernel on disk https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/ubuntu-18-04-remove-all-unused-old-kernels/

I wish I'd be as confident as all those Americans who criticize the EU for all the poor regulations they force onto us poor EU people, we really couldn't do without them! 🙄

Seriously, the EU ain't perfect, but their policies are somewhat of a result what we voted and want. And yes, we want data protection, yes we want 3rd party app stores, yes we want USB C charging cables for everything.
